Privacy Policy

This website (vikiproduces.in) is the portfolio of VIKI (Vicky Bhojayya), a freelance music producer and mix & master engineer based in India. This page explains what information the site handles and your choices. I keep it to the minimum needed to run a portfolio.

1. What I collect

• Emails you send me. The site has no sign-up and no contact form. If you click the email button, your own email app opens. I receive your name, address and message only if you send them, and use them only to reply to you and to discuss a project.
• Server logs. My hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
• Your cookie choice. The site stores your consent choice in your browser's local storage so it does not ask again.

2. Cookies, analytics and third-party content

• Essential only (default). Nothing beyond your consent choice is stored. Music and video players do not load until you click them.
• If you choose "Accept all". Spotify players load automatically as you scroll, and, if enabled, anonymous usage analytics (Google Analytics) measure which sections are visited. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer.
• Spotify and YouTube. When a player loads (when you click it, or automatically if you accepted), Spotify or Google receives your IP address and may set cookies under their own policies. YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
• Images from other servers. Video thumbnails (YouTube/Google) and a client logo (Wikimedia) load directly from those providers when the page opens, so they receive your IP address and browser details.
• Links out. Links to Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud and Instagram take you to services with their own privacy policies.

3. Why and on what basis

I process data to reply to you (legitimate interest and taking steps at your request), to keep the site secure (legitimate interest), and, for analytics and automatic third-party players, only with your consent. I do not sell your data and I do not use it for advertising.

4. How long I keep it

Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or project and to meet legal or accounting duties, then deleted. Analytics data, if enabled, is kept for the period set in the analytics tool (up to 14 months).

5. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and (for visitors in the EU/UK) the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent at any time, and raise a grievance. Write to email me and I will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.

6. Children

This site is not directed at children under 18, and I do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Material changes affecting consent will be shown on the site.
